Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Progressive International Onion ChopperCustomer Review: Awesome Chopper Summary: 5 StarsThis is my second one. After two years of constant use, the hinge shattered, and I ordered my second one immediately. I find it useful for chopping celery, carrots, and potatos. For onions, just make 3/4 in slices and cut for easier use after removing outer tough layer, that can be chopped separately.
Customer Review: No More Tears Summary: 5 StarsI got mine at Wally World for 10$ .... I cook for between 8-10 people a night and use onions frequently. My chopper has held up well. I don't put it in the dishwasher and I apply enough pressure to make it start chopping but sort of let it do its own thing... I can see where if you pushed hard to make it go faster than maybe it should that it would break. That however is true with any product.
Customer Review: Cheap!! Summary: 1 StarsI got this product and was making salsa and thought it would be great to chop up the onions and green peppers. I tried the green peppers and it wouldn't cut them. So I went on to try the onions - it broke!! This is the worst product on the market there is and should be stopped - what a rip off!!
Customer Review: it is a good cutter. you just have to be careful if your vegetables are bigger than average Summary: 5 StarsFor the customer it is a good way to chop the vegetables without any problem, however, if your potato is bigger than average, do not be lazy and cut it in half before chopping. For Manufacturer I would recommend to use metal screws instead of plastic, it increases durability of the product, drives the price up and customer satisfaction will be higher, thus, customer retention rate, that is what you want
Customer Review: Chops Great - A Pain to Clean! Summary: 4 StarsThe Progressive Onion Chopper does an excellent job of chopping onions, bell peppers, celery and other veggies evenly and quickly. You can easily chop half a dozen onions in a few minutes, including the prep time of peeling and quartering the onions. The only drawback is the difficulty in cleaning it. It's almost impossible to remove all of those small pieces of produce. However, once it dries, the dried pieces can be easily cleaned off with a toothbrush.
