Although this product is somewhat limited due to its hinged size restriction, it is so helpful opening many large, medium and small caps. It's great for pop bottles. It nearly always works for me better than a rubber gripper, and I have somewhat weak hand strength. I use it regularly and find it a necessity in my kitchen. I like having the other functions as well, particularly the one for opening pop top cans. I hate breaking my nails that way, and this function solved that problem and works very easily. My husband did break the first one I had by trying to open something that was too small, so I did have to replace it. I dislike having lots of gadgets around, but I replaced this one as soon as I found another. I bought two and recently gave the extra as a shower gift.
