I bought this after receiving seven stitches in my though on my grater. It works ok but it it very bulky and makes it tough grating the last little pieces which is why you need the guard in the first place. However if does provide protection at a small cost. Now if someone could point me to the little round plastic guides that have the points to hold the cheese or veggies, that would be great.
